HOOPER, Utah (ABC4) — On Labor Day back in 1925, Roy Beasley organized the first Farm Bureau Day Celebration in Hooper. In 1932, the name was changed to Hooper Tomato Day after the popular tomatoes that were grown in the city. Over the years, the event grew and grew and what was once a day of celebration is now a week’s worth of fun.

Whether a person’s family has called Hooper home since the 1870s, like Robyn Cox...

“Like I said, multiple generations,” Robyn Cox told ABC4. “I love being a part of Hooper. I moved away for a short time but... I've been here for probably 37 years out of my 45.”
