(WAND) - The #12 Illinois Fighting Illini take their five-game winning streak on the road against the Duke Blue Devils Saturday.

Illinois came into the 2025 campaign with its highest preseason ranking since 1990, and was not about to let Western Illinois spoil the fun in a 52-3 demolition of the Leathernecks. Dating back to last season, the Illini have won five games in a row , beginning with a win over Michigan State in November. That is tied for the longest active streak in the Big Ten with the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes.
