Tulare County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man injured in Porterville on Monday afternoon.

Deputies were called around 3:15 p.m. to the 1500 block of East Success Avenue, where they found a man who had been shot, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
