FORT WORTH, Texas — A Fort Worth family is safe after a pickup truck plowed into their home early Sunday morning, police said.

Officers were called around 2 a.m. to the 2600 block of Wallace Street in the Polytechnic Heights neighborhood. When they arrived, they found the truck had crashed into the front of a home, leaving a trail of debris, broken brick and tire marks.

No one inside the residence was hurt. The family told WFAA they had gone to bed just minutes before the crash. A grandmother, daughter and 5-year-old girl were asleep in the house when the pickup slammed into the living room.
