HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- An incident where a woman drove a minivan into Harrisburg's Kipona Festival followed a spate of safety concerns at summer celebrations in the city.
The three day festival was coming to a close on Monday, Sept. 5, when police said the woman drove around barricades and parked cars, injuring three people on South Front Street, where vendors were set up.

"It's a shame that something like this ruins what was rather a very successful weekend for the city of Harrisburg," said Capt. Atah Akakpo-Martin with the Harrisburg Bureau of Police.
