×As far as college football debuts go, Thatcher Hutton and Tyler Barrett certainly won’t forget theirs.

Hutton punted twice for the Presbyterian Blue Hose in their 15-10 upset of Mercer on Saturday, while Barrett got on the field for the Georgetown Hoyas in their 51-14 domination of Davidson.

Hutton didn’t log any snaps in his first season at Presbyterian, but the former Tennessee High standout earned a starting spot on special teams in 2025.

“It felt great to hit the field and perform with my guys,” Hutton said. “We’ve all been working our tail off and it felt great to come and show out. … I had a little bit of nerves of course, but I just had to remind myself to catch and punt and to believe in the 10 guys ahead of me.”
