PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KVOA) - Starting Sept. 2, the Pima County Department of Transportation will begin repair work on the Swan Road Bridge at the Rillito Creek.

The work is scheduled to take place during nighttime hours from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Sept. 30.

Drivers should expect delays and lane closures in the area. Officials urge motorists to approach the work zone cautiously, obey all traffic control devices and allow for extra travel time.

The construction schedule could change due to mechanical failures or inclement weather.
