TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Board of Supervisors is set to vote on the Regional Transportation Authority's 20-year plan during their meeting.

This $2.67 billion plan, approved last week by the RTA board, would fund the county's roadways and transportation budget through 2046.

The plan must be approved by September 12 for it to be included on the ballot in the March 2026 county election.

The funding for the plan relies on the continuation of a half-cent sales tax, and it will only take effect if passed by voters in March, provided it meets the approval deadline.
