BOWLING GREEN,KY.- Although, summer isn’t officially over, hundreds of families gathered at Jackson’s Orchard to celebrate Labor Day and kick off the fall season during the annual Apple Fest.

Visitors like tourist Matt Brown were excited to embrace the seasonal shift, saying, “…It’s September, so we’re going to get our fall on.”

The orchard drew a lot of tourists and locals with its festive atmosphere and scenic charm. Local resident Shea Nelms called it a “hidden gem” that keeps people coming back once they’ve experienced it.

From fresh apple treats to hayrides and pumpkins, the orchard offers endless fall activities for all ages. With great food, a laid-back environment, and a nod to simpler times, Jackson’s Orchard continues to be a cherished tradition in the community.
