Firefighters respond to horse trapped in pool

Los Angeles firefighters responded to a call around 6:48 p.m. at 5380 N. Durfee in El Monte after a horse became trapped in a pool, authorities reported.

Upon arrival, crews assisted the owner in rescuing the horse from the pool. The animal appears to be safe and unharmed and is now being fed by its owner.
