DALLAS, Texas — When Lesley Gonzalez told her son, Isaac, that the Dallas Cowboys had traded his favorite player — linebacker Micah Parsons — the 7-year-old’s first instinct was disbelief.

“You’re lying,” Isaac said, as the moment was captured on video and later posted to TikTok.

Lesley said her son’s uncles had asked her to record his reaction, knowing how deeply he cared about Parsons and that he would submit a reaction many Cowboys fans could relate to. It's almost as if pain is a shared trauma among the Silver and Blue.
