BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - The Powerball drawing on Monday is the fifth largest in the games history. It’s at $1.1 billion after no one matched the numbers pulled on Saturday.

So, what would you do with that much cash? People in our hometowns have some ideas.

“I would pay all of my moms bills,” Hannah Moss, Virginia Tech student, said. “I would take everything she has ever given me and give it back. I want her to live a stress free life.”

Moss says it’s the least she could do for someone who’s sacrificed so much.

“She has done so much for me and sacrificed,” Moss said. “It’s the least I could do to make sure she is taken care of for the rest of her time so she wouldn’t have to work a 9am-5pm everyday.”
