ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Average gasoline prices in Roanoke have fell 7.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.87 per gallon, according to Gasbuddy ’s survey of 155 stations in the area.

Gasoline prices in Roanoke are 10.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and is at 18.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 1.4 cents per gallon compared to a week ago and sits at $3.67 per gallon, said Gasbuddy’s survey.

The station with the most affordable price of gasoline was priced at $2.59 per gallon on Monday, September 1. While the most expensive gas station was $3.29 per gallon, a difference of 70 cents per gallon.
