A 2-year-old rural Englevale, N.D., girl who was riding in a truck driven by her 9-year-old brother was killed Wednesday afternoon when the truck left the road and rolled into a ditch west of Englevale.

The victim was Diane Gimbel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Gimbel, Ransom County farmers.

It was the second motor vehicle accident death of the day in North Dakota.

Oscar Berg, 72, of Devils Lake, died early Wednesday of injuries suffered Monday night when he was hit by a car.
