MACON, Ga. — Mercer volleyball is getting set for a new season, but this one comes after winning its first outright Southern Conference title .

"It was really fun and exciting," senior Abbey Havrilla said. "When I started here, it was a little rocky and then we built that up so it was really exciting to see a lot of wins come into the program and we're excited to build on that."

This year will look a little different for the defending regular-season champs. The theme? Adjusting to the new.

"There's a lot of newness out there," new head coach Steve Benson said.
