Burning backyard trees, structure threaten homes in Fairfield

(FOX40.COM) — The Fairfield Fire Department said it was responding to a fire threatening two homes Monday night.

According to the fire department, crews responded to a fire on First Street, where trees in two backyards had caught fire.

The fire department said it had kept the fire out of the structures but that the homes' occupants had been removed.
