Pleasant start to September

Sunshine continues as we start September with highs in the upper 70s. It will be pleasant through Wednesday before rain chances return to Western Pennsylvania on Thursday.

Impact Day Thursday for rain

Our best rain chances arrive Thursday. An approaching cold front will bring scattered rain and a few isolated thunderstorms to the region. Pockets of heavy rain can't be ruled out. Have the umbrella handy all day but the best chance for some pockets of heavy rain come in the afternoon. Rain will start likely just after the morning commute and will begin to taper off by the evening commute. We made Thursday an Impact Day.
