LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A structure fire early Tuesday morning shut down two busy roads while crews worked to put out the flames.

The fire broke out near the intersection of Center St and Oakland Ave shortly before 2:00 a.m. and portions of Oakland Ave and Cedar St were shut down as a result. It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the fire.

Crews worked quickly to subdue the flames but the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Lansing Fire Department was assisted by officers from the Lansing Police Department at the scene.
