SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) - A 56-year-old man from Raisin Township was pronounced dead following a two-vehicle crash in Shiawassee County, according to the Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Monday, September 1, at the intersection of Garrison Road and Byron Road.

An on-scene investigation revealed that a vehicle traveling northbound attempted to turn left onto Garrison Road and collided head-on with the 56-year-old man’s car.

The man was ejected from his vehicle and transported to Hurley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was not injured.
