(Gray News) - The Powerball jackpot has grown to $1.3 billion after no one matched all six winning numbers to cap off Labor Day.

Any player who wins the $1.3 billion jackpot will have the choice of receiving the full prize amount in 29 annual payments or a lump sum payment estimated at $589 million.

The $1.3 billion prize is the fifth-largest in Powerball history and the ninth-largest among U.S. lottery jackpot games.
