Leeds United have ended the transfer window with 10 new players in exchange for more than £100m. Yet there is a real sense that this might not be enough.

The window started well with four signings acquired before the pre-season tour and three more during the week’s training camp in Germany. But things slowed afterwards and first choice targets fell by the wayside.

Leeds supporters have been left bruised by the last gasp rejection of Facundo Buonanotte and the deadline day collapse over a move for Harry Wilson. Fans will be pensive for the coming months as a result. Right now, this is what the strongest XI looks like.
