A man has been arrested after a crash blocked the M11 on the Cambridgeshire border. Essex Police were called to a two-vehicle crash on the M11 near Saffron Walden just before 1.30pm on Monday (September 1).
The road was partially blocked between junctions 8 and 9. Officers attended and arrested a man on suspicion of drink driving.
The road was reopened by 2.25pm. A police spokesperson said: “A man has been arrested following a collision on the M11.
“We were called to the stretch between junctions eight and nine shortly before 1.20pm on Monday, September 1 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles. Officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
“No-one was seriously injured and the road was reopened by 2.25pm.”
