Two crashes twenty minutes apart early Monday morning, September 1, 2025, killed a 31-year old Elkton man and seriously injured three others.

Delaware State Police said around 1:40 a.m., a wrong way driver on Route 301 near Middletown died after his car crashed head-on into a truck.

The driver of the truck, a 60-year old man, and his passenger, a 62-year old woman, both from Yonkers, New York, suffered serious injuries.

Then around 2 a.m. on northbound I-95 at the Otts Chapel Road overpass, a box truck ran off the highway and collided with a concrete bridge support.
