A TikTok video of Jacob Elordi at the 2025 Venice Film Festival is going viral.

It looks as if, from the video, that the 28-year-old Euphoria actor had a bit of a tense exchange with a male staffer at the festival. Jacob was there to promote his new Netflix movie Frankenstein .

Jacob could be heard on camera saying, “I’m gonna take a picture right here.” And then said to the man, “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”

It’s unclear what the man was trying to get Jacob to do, but Jacob was signing autographs and taking photos with fans as the moment happened. You can watch the video on TikTok .

Frankenstein will be released in select theaters on October 17 before becoming available to stream on Netflix on November 7. You can see the teaser trailer for it here.
