Democratic Representative Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) has added his name to the growing bipartisan list of lawmakers supporting Rep. Thomas Massie’s resolution to release government records related to Jeffrey Epstein and his network. Cleaver’s August 29th co-sponsorship brings the total number of cosponsors to 47 (36 Democrats and 11 Republicans), spanning both parties and reflecting rare unity around demands for transparency in the case.

Cleaver has been a critic of the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein case for years. Previously, Cleaver spoke out against the sweetheart deal that Epstein received during Trump's first term.
