A red minivan drove through a barricaded area at the Kipona Festival in Harrisburg , Pennsylvania, on Monday (September 1), injuring three people. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. as the three-day festival was concluding. According to Harrisburg Bureau of Police Captain Atah Akakpo-Martin , the driver, Elizabeth Bohrer , was apprehended a few blocks away.
She remains in custody, pending charges.
The injured include a six-year-old boy in critical condition , a woman in a wheelchair who is stable, and a city worker with bruising and sprains.
