CLEVELAND — The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has provided some updates for motorists as its massive $173 million project to replace the pavement on I-90 between West Boulevard in Cleveland to Hilliard Boulevard in Rocky River picks up steam.

According to a release from ODOT, starting on Monday, Sept. 8, I-90 eastbound between Hilliard Blvd. and Alger Road will be reduced to three lanes through November 2026 for pavement replacement.

Then, on Monday, Sept. 15, there will be two new impacts:

I-90 westbound at McKinley Road will be reduced to three lanes through December for drainage repairs

The McKinley Road entrance ramp to I-90 westbound will be closed through December for pavement replacement. The detour will be South Marginal Road to Alger Road to I-90 West.
