Lidl has introduced a major change to its supermarkets which will impact all of its hourly paid colleagues.

The change will see Lidl increasing its minimum rate for its hourly paid staff members from £12.75 up to £13 nationally from the start of September.

The supermarket further added that it would increase hourly colleagues wages up to £13.95 with length of service.

Meanwhile the store will also increase wages for its hourly employees in London from £14 to £14.35, before increasing this figure again to £14.65 with length of service.
