LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man was arraigned Tuesday for charges related to a crash in Louisville that killed a 12-year-old girl and seriously injured her mother and baby sister.

Renaldo James Gill, 34, is facing numerous charges for the crash that happened early Monday morning on I-265/Gene Snyder Freeway.

During, Tuesday's hearing, his bond was doubled.

“Because I find you to be a danger to everyone in this community," the judge said.

According to police, Gill was drunk when he rammed into the back of a Jeep around 2:30 a.m. The impact threw 31-year-old Jasmine Simpson and her two children from the Jeep.

Simpson and her infant were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The 12-year-old girl died at the scene.
