CLEMSON, S.C. (WBTV) - The Savannah Bananas are headed to South Carolina next month for a game against Clemson baseball .
In the exhibition scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, the Bananas will face the university’s baseball team at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson.
This marks the second consecutive year the teams will play against each other.
Banana Ball rules
So, here’s the interesting part -- the game will be played with Banana Ball rules .
That means teams earn points for winning innings, games are capped at two hours, and there are other batter-friendly features.
Clemson head coach Erik Bakich will lead the Tigers, comprised of 2026 members, according to the university.
