MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — The anticipated release day of Karen Huger is finally here. The self-proclaimed 'grand dame' of Potomac has finally been released from Montgomery County Correction Facility around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Huger was captured by cameras waving out a rolled down window of a Ford Expedition an hour after she was released. Witnesses told WUSA9 that Huger was getting her hair and makeup done for the Real Housewives of Potomac production crew filmed her release.
Huger was first arrested on March 2024 by Montgomery County Police after she was accused of crashing her Maserati into a median and then swerved off the road. She was sentenced to one year in jail but for only six months her DUI.
She will serve five years of probation and is not allowed to drive for a year. S
