Despite a summer of clear skies and hot weather, fewer people took to Vancouver’s Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) Fair than last year.
The PNE says attendance topped 612,000 for its 115th fair — a drop of about 25,000 attendees from 2024.
Organizers believe the ongoing economic uncertainty may have had an influence, but the 2025 Fair remains B.C.’s biggest ticketed event.
The PNE says its attractions were “well-received” by visitors, including: • 235,042 guests who attended the SuperDogs show, • 180,000 perogies sold, • 136,000 lemons used to make lemonade, • and 53,900 moles whacked at Whac-a-Mole.
A show by Rainbow Kitten Surprise closed out the 2025 Summer Night Concerts lineup at the Pacific Coliseum Monday night.
