Anglian Water has issued an update after a burst water main left Cambridgeshire villagers without water. A water main burst along Church Close in Stilton on Friday (August 29), resulting in a loss of water for residents.

The path where the water main was also damaged. A partial road closure has since been put in place with temporary traffic lights so Anglian Water can repair it.

Anglian Water carried out a routine water check, as there was an interruption to water supply on Monday (September 1). They issued a “boil water notice” after a failed water quality sample was linked to a property.
