ST. CHARLES, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Two teens were injured after leading police on an overnight pursuit into St. Charles and crashing.

According to the St. Charles Police Department, an officer tried to stop a Honda Odyssey after it was reported stolen out of Belleville, Ill.

The Honda led police on a pursuit towards the ramp onto eastbound I-70 where another St. Charles officer successfully deployed spike strips.

The car continued on I-70 before losing control near the McKelvey Road overpass, bouncing off a guardrail and veering across all eastbound lanes of the interstate. It was then struck by a passing tractor-trailer.
