LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The University of Kentucky student accused of concealing the birth of her infant bonded out of jail on Monday and pleaded not guilty on Tuesday.

Court documents show that Laken Snelling was released just after 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 after posting a surety bond. The conditions include no further violations of the law, as well as home incarceration with her parents and without an ankle monitor.
Around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, Lexington police said they were called to a home in the 400 block of Park Avenue regarding an unresponsive infant found inside a closet.
