Suffolk County, NY – A Huntington Station man has been indicted on attempted murder and assault charges after prosecutors say he opened fire at a house party in West Babylon last month, leaving a 17-year-old seriously injured.
Savion Jones, 22, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Assault in the First Degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. Prosecutors allege Jones shot the teen three times on August 15, including once in the leg, striking the victim’s femoral artery and vein.
