AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County deputies have arrested a shooting suspect they’d been seeking for four months.

Antoine Keshawn Smith was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

He’s been wanted on a charge of aggravated assault for a shooting that happened May 1 at Ruby Drive and Richmond Hill Road.

It all began after the victim, a 39-year-old man, got into an argument with his wife, so he left his home with a friend, according to an incident report from deputies.

The victim and his friend went to a home elsewhere, where the victim got into an argument with a woman who was in the home, according to deputies.
