Nine days after a ransomware attack forced Nevada to take systems offline , the Department of Motor Vehicles remains closed. But in a Tuesday update on X, the DMV says many services can now be completed online through a special portal.

Are Nevada DMV offices open?
No. All in-person DMV offices remain closed until further notice, including AAA offices and city or county partnerships that normally process DMV transactions.
Is the DMV website working?
Yes — but through a special page. The DMV says drivers should go to dmv.nv.gov/mydmvoffline.htm for services available during the outage.
What services are available online through the Nevada DMV?
According to the DMV, you can now do the following during the statewide outage:
