Former Belleville mayor Panciuk named to helm Ontario One Call

Former Belleville mayor Mitch Panciuk has been named as president and CEO of Ontario One Call.

He succeeds Jim Keech, who has led the organization in the past three years.

The organization describes itself as “a public safety administrative authority that acts as a communications link between buried infrastructure owners and individuals who are planning to dig in the province of Ontario.”

In a statement by the organizations board, members said, “Panciuk brings a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to public service. He has served as both city councillor and mayor of Belleville, where he championed key initiatives in housing, infrastructure, and healthcare recruitment.
