SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A private school in Sioux City has announced it is canceling its varsity football season this year.

Siouxland Christian School has decided to cancel its varsity football season after it had its opening game last Friday, Aug. 29.

The sports stats website MaxPreps shows Siouxland Christian was playing against Coon Rapids-Bayard on Friday, and the final result was 0-60 in Coon Rapids-Bayard’s favor. It was counted as a forfeit for Siouxland Christian.
