JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (WSIL) -- More than 200 crashes were reported over Labor Day weekend which resulted in five deaths across the State of Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) released their Labor Day Holiday statistics, which spanned from August 29, at 6 p.m. through September 1.

Crashes - 222
Injuries - 104
Fatalities - 5
DWI - 100
Drug Arrests - 14

Two people died in separate traffic crashes on Saturday. One in New Madrid County and the other in Clay County.
Two people were also killed in traffic crashes on Sunday. One in Reynolds County and the other in St. Charles County.
