CEDAR RAPIDS — District 3 incumbent Dale Todd is seeking re-election to the Cedar Rapids City Council.

Todd, 68, announced his run Tuesday to continue representing the district that covers downtown Cedar Rapids and much of the southeast quadrant. His name will appear on the Nov. 4 ballot.

“I believe that city government, at its best, helps people and connects them with the services they need,” Todd said in a written statement. “My vision is to lead Cedar Rapids toward a more secure, successful and resilient future.”
