GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A 62-year-old Green Bay man faces numerous charges, including attempted first-degree intentional homicide, after he allegedly strangled his girlfriend on Friday, August 29.

In a criminal complaint acquired by Local 5, Floyd Simmons faces the following six charges: • Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide Up to 60 years in prison, if convicted • Up to 60 years in prison, if convicted • Strangulation and Suffocation Up to $10,000 in fines and/or six years in prison, if convicted • Up to $10,000 in fines and/or six years in prison, if convicted • Disorderly Conduct Up to $1,000 in fines and/or 90 days in prison, if convicted • Up to $1,000 in fines and/or 90
