AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A Randall County man was sentenced to 50 years in prison following a months long homicide case.

Tristan Roland, 26, pleaded guilty to one count of "murder" in the death of Tiffany Randle, 49, in February.

As was previously reported by MyHighPlains.com, earlier this year, the Randall County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 19200 block of West County Road 34 on a reported stabbing. The person who contacted 911 said one woman had been stabbed and the suspect had fled the scene.

The woman who was stabbed, identified as Randle, was found dead at the scene when deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety officials arrived.
