A 51-year-old woman from Cornwall is facing six charges after various police investigations.

Police alleged the woman assaulted her ex-spouse on July 21. She was taken into custody during an early morning police traffic stop on Sunday, when officers alleged she was in possession of cocaine, packaging materials, cash, and several cheques.

The woman was charged with assault; possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine; possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000; possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000; fraud under $5,000; and, breach of probation for failing to keep the peace.

She was held in police custody pending a bail hearing in Cornwall court.
