A woman is fighting for her life after she was stabbed at a Gold Coast shopping centre overnight.

Emergency services were called to the centre on Foxwell Road in Coomera at about 1.25am.

They found a 32-year-old woman, who had been stabbed multiple times.

She was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
