A new team member is set to walk this weekend with Corunna’s Kim and Paul Wright to raise funds and awareness for the Kidney Foundation.

It will be the seventh time the Wrights have taken part in the annual 100-km Kidney March and local resident, Terri-Lynn Thomson, is walking with them this year to help raise awareness about kidney disease and the need for donors on behalf of her partner who began dialysis in the spring.

The Kidney March is held each year in the Alberta foothills outside of Calgary and the Wrights, along with family members who make up their team, have travelled there several times to take part.

This year, as they have in a few other years, they are walking 100 km during three days on routes in Lambton County.
