President Donald Trump made his first public appearance in a week on Tuesday, squashing death rumors that circulated over Labor Day weekend and led to speculation about his health on social media.

After announcing U.S. Space Command is moving from Colorado to Huntsville, Alabama, Trump took questions from reporters in the Oval Office, including one who asked, "How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?"

At first, the president said he "didn't see that" but then said he heard about the rumors, saying, "It's sort of crazy."

"But last week I did numerous news conferences - all successful," the president said. "They went very well, like this is going, very well, and then I didn't do any for two days, and they said there must be something wrong with him."
