NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - It's been pleasant day here in southeastern Louisiana and southern Mississippi, but enjoy it while you can because temperatures and humidity levels will be on rise starting Wednesday.

High temperatures for Tuesday stayed mostly in the upper 80s, but a few spots did make it to the 90-degree mark although we will begin to cool off getting into the upper 70s for the overnight.

The wind gusts have surely been working in our favor the last few days giving us some relief and we will continue to have breezy conditions through this evening. Just take a look at 5:30 p.m...

The slightly "stronger" wind gusts remain along the coast with Empire at 16-mph, Gulfport at 14-mph then there's Lafitte at 15-mph.
