As both states blamed politics for the back and forth that resulted Tuesday in Space Command headquarters heading from Colorado to Alabama , President Donald Trump said concerns with Colorado’s voting system was a “big factor” in his decision.

Colorado “went to mail-in voting .. so they automatically had crooked elections. So that played a big factor, also,” Trump said during his Oval Office announcement reversing the Biden administration’s decision to award the headquarters to Colorado Springs.

“The problem with Colorado is they have a very corrupt voting system,” Trump responded after a reporter asked if he was concerned about Space Command employees refusing to move to Alabama. “Any time you have mail-in voting you have corrupt elections, very simple.”
